Case Study – Watford & District Y.M.C.A Building

Watford Y.M.C.A is a large tower block situated in the centre of Watford above the main shopping centre.

A total window refurbishment was carried out by WindowmanUK Ltd, replacing the eight storeys of original single glazed aluminium bays with quality replacement Tilt & Turn windows.

The project has successfully improved essential accommodation for homeless people in the area, whilst preserving the building’s striking appearance it also substantially increased thermal performance of the windows with an economic yet aesthetically pleasing design solution with the valued support of System company.

This project was completed within the timescale specified by the clients, met all budget requirements and vastly improved the buildings’ appearance dramatically at a competitive tender price.
