Case Study – Wear Valley District Council

Having worked within the Wear Valley district for some three years and already successfully completed a number of works acheiving customer satisfaction scores of over 90% WindowmanUK Ltd were successful in securing a long term Partnering Agreement for the replacement of windows and composite doors within the district.

WindowmanUK Ltd has worked very closely with Wear Valley District Council in numerous areas including supporting local educational award schemes and helping to fund local anti-crime initiatives.

We feel that we assisted in the regeneration of these areas by including our customer in every stage of the regeneration thus ensuring cohesion within the community and environment helping to provide clean, smart, efficient homes that are in keeping with the character of the area, which in turns makes people proud to live there and reduce void properties. Creating not only a visual improvement to the townscape but also giving a better quality of environment for people to live and work in.

Conclusion: This project has through the Partnering scheme allowed full participation by all members of the team (clients, residents & councillors) resulting in greater choice of products for residents, but also with regular resident consultation meetings we have been able to always consider the needs of all team members when designing the products for manufacture with special consideration being placed on security aesthetics and performance.
