Reinforced by procedures that commit the parties to co-operation and avoidance of confrontation. A successful Partner is one that is fully committed from the top of the organisation and should involve all stakeholders (employees, clients and customers).

As no two schemes are the same no two arrangements can be the same, therefore the implementation of a good Partnering Agreement is based fundamentally on team building, communication and empowerment with monitoring systems to allow benchmarking mechanisms and continual improvement initiatives to take the leading role.
